Adit Thampi

Adit completed his undergraduate degree in 2024 at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur), majoring in Materials Science and Engineering with minors in English Literature and Cognitive Science, and also competed on the college basketball team. His research focuses on the sodium-ion transport, conductivity, and structural stability challenges limiting the rate performance of polyanionic-based sodium-ion battery cathodes. Outside the lab, Adit enjoys watching and playing almost any sport (especially basketball), hiking, travelling, and going to the gym.

Adit is co-advised by Jagjit Nanda, Zhelong Jiang (SLAC), and William Chueh (Stanford).
