Aimen Shaikh
Aimen joined the Chueh group in October 2022 as an M.S. student in Materials Science and Engineering. She received her B.S. in Chemical Engineering and minor in Mechanical Engineering from NYU, after which she worked for 3 years in the automotive industry on system failure diagnosis and emissions control. Her research focused on investigating the effects of trace doping impurities on high-energy-density nickel-rich NMC cathode active materials in lithium-ion batteries. In her free time, Aimen enjoys traveling, hiking, and dancing, as well as playing badminton, board games, and video games.
Aimen was advised by William Chueh (Stanford) and was mentored by Zhelong during her master's.
