Liam Nagle-Cocco

Postdoctoral Researcher

Liam grew up in South Wales and later moved to London, where he earned both his undergraduate and master’s degrees in physics from University College London. During his studies, he had the opportunity to study abroad at the University of Washington. Liam went on to complete his PhD in physics at Jesus College, University of Cambridge, where his research explored the crystallographic and magnetic properties of battery cathode materials. In 2024, Liam joined the Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Lightsource at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory for a postdoctoral position, concentrating on materials characterization for green hydrogen production. Outside of the lab, Liam enjoys hiking, swimming, climbing, board games, and reading.
