Field Sites

Our SFA research program currently utilizes field sites along two major rivers in the Rocky Mountains: the Slate River in Crested Butte, CO and the Little Wind River in Riverton, WY. Varying greatly in soil attributes and hydrograph, these gravel-bed rivers are representative of thousands of kilometers of river across the Western United States.
