Enrico Tusini

Postdoctoral Associate

Enrico received his PhD from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in 2024 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Jan-Dierk Grunwaldt. The focus of the doctoral thesis was on the operando and in situ characterization of bimetallic catalysts for hydrogen production using X-ray absorption spectroscopy. After a brief post-doctoral appointment at KIT Light Source where he worked at CAT beamline, in early 2025 he joined the Co-ACCESS team. Here, his main tasks include support during the commissioning of BL 10-2, assist the users during their in situ/operando X-ray absorption spectroscopy experiments on catalytic materials and the data analysis, as well as to support the Co-ACCESS team effort to develop new expertise in the field of catalysis and spectroscopy.
