Our Mission Statement

CORE is committed to fostering a transparent and welcoming environment that wholeheartedly embraces the SLAC culture. We aim to build a strong sense of community among all SLAC employees, promoting engagement and empowering individuals to share their unique voices. Through education and advocacy, we strive to create a safe space for all employees, ensuring that the needs of every individual are heard and respected. CORE is dedicated to providing intersectional opportunities for professional development, allowing our members to grow and thrive together, while also focusing on retaining high-quality staff. We are committed to sponsoring outreach programs for local youth, inspiring the next generation to explore the wonders of science. Together with senior management, we will cultivate a workplace that supports all employees and drives collective success.
