Rhythm & Roots: Salsa Dance Class
Wednesday, Oct 1 | 12pm - 1pm | ARCAS Outdoor Rec
Shake off the stress of the workday with some rhythm and roots at our beginner-friendly salsa class!
Come ready to move, learn from our in-person instructor, and have fun.
Voices & Culture: Trivia
Tuesday, Oct 14 | 12 - 1:00 p.m | Napa Conference Room (B41-1158) & Zoom
Get ready to dance and guess the Latin music rhythms! In this interactive game, we'll play 5 lively Latin music tracks and challenge you to identify the specific rhythm.
As each song plays, you'll be given two possible rhythm options. Demonstrate your dance moves by dancing in place and guess Option A or Option B. Join in the fun as we groove to these infectious Latin beats.
See if you can recognize the difference between a Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Bachata, and Cha Cha Cha. Put your musical knowledge to the test and get ready to move! (Are there any prizes to give out?)
This is a great way to liven up the office, celebrate Latin music, and get everyone up and dancing. No prior experience necessary - just an enthusiasm for rhythm and a willingness to have a blast.
