Pride Month Kick-off Event
June 3, 2025 – Tuesday – 10:30 - 11am
SUSB Main Entrance
Everyone at SLAC is invited to kick off pride month with the LGBTQ+ ERG. June 3rd, 10:30am - 11am at the main entrance of B53/SUSB. This event will be replacing the raising of the pride flag.
Pride March & Social
June 25, 2025 – Wednesday – 12pm - 2pm
SUSB Main Entrance & Main Quad
SLAC's Fourth Annual Pride March is happening on Wednesday, June 25th from 12-2pm. We will begin the march in the front of SUSB Building (B053), then proceed around Loop Road and end the celebration on the Main Quad.
All SLAC employees are invited to attend and show their support for the LGBTQ+ community. If you have non-SLAC folx (friends, partners, family, or colleagues) who would love to join us for the march, please ask guests to register here before June 13.
SLAC Reads: Becoming Nicole
July 1, 2025 – Tuesday – 11:30-12:30pm
B41, Napa Conference Room/Zoom
Come join the LGBTQ+ ERG for an insightful conversation about Becoming Nicole by Amy Ellis Nutt on July 1st 11:30 - 12:30pm in Napa Conference Room or Zoom. Lunch provided in person.

A note on participation and time-charging during normally scheduled work hours: Supervisors are encouraged to participate and allow their employees to participate in community activities as operations permit. Employees should charge their usual PA since the activities provide value to SLAC. However, if a particular project requires work to be backfilled during this time, a separate PA number might be required. For employees who are part of a service center, they should charge their shop’s UDT (undistributed time) code. For exceptions or complex charging situations, reach out to your business manager.
